Friday 5: Brooches to Warm Up any Winter Style

It’s understandable why so many despise the winter weather. At first it may appear magical: the first snow a romantic notion of the holiday season. But as we move into January, and the snow turns to slush, tinted in that unspeakable, dirty shade of brown. Winter is just gross. I, too, tire of walking to work dressed to the ears in puffy material. If I fell over, I would not be able to get up and instead would ask someone to roll me to work. But there’s a silver, sparkly lining in all of this: jewelry. The more surface area your clothing has, the more jewels to adorn it! Winter hats, gloves, scarves, and that coat are all prime candidates for a lovely brooch. And truly, it seems this time of year is when the brooch is at its height of popularity. And it just so happens that I have a few for you to stock now, to help those customers pin on a little cheer when the winter feels endless.
