Collection Obsession: Charles Garnier’s Britannia 958 Heritage

Put this new collection on your list of goodies to see at JCK Las Vegas. Charles Garnier Paris has introduced a line of fashion jewelry crafted with 95.8 percent pure silver named Britannia 958 Heritage. New additions to the collection, which made its debut in February, will be on display at the upcoming show.

The brand, the name of which comes from the jeweler Charles Garnier, is no stranger to innovation. Using the latest technologies for this latest collection, the pieces undergo an exclusive refinement process that results in the metal with a higher purity than the 92.5 percent found in sterling. This process creates a stronger metal that is shinier and longer lasting, according to the company.

One of my favorites in the collection are the Nicola bamboo-style hoop earrings (above). They resemble so much of what was shown on the fashion runways this year, and with silver threatening to quickly top gold as the new “it” metal, they would be so perfect for the summer. Cool, right? I’ll be hunting for this pair on the show floor.

“Britannia 958 was born to offer retailers a better product than sterling‚” says owner and president Guy Benhamou. “We have been working on this alloy for over a year and are continuing to develop new items for this collection—by JCK, we’ll have over 100 styles available.”
