Jewelry Style Crave: Prima Ballerina

Lately I’ve been drawn to anything feminine and flouncy: light as air fabrics, powdery pink hues, and delicate design details. This isn’t an accident—our favorite fashion magazines, street style icons, and couture collections are teasing the enamored ballerina-esque styles. And what embodies delicate ruffles, cascading curves, and feminine detail better than jewelry? A crisscrossing shank, the delicate whirl and twirl of a tassel pendant, or the scalloped edges of a setting. And if those designs are enhanced with a gemstone in a pastel shade—ideally, pink—then all the better. And you don’t have to be incredibly coordinated, light-on-your-tiptoes, or at all swan-like in order to embrace your inner ballerina. Elegance and femininity are always in style.
