I warned you that JCK magazine's covers in the 1950s would get...different.
I had to stretch my definition of "best" a bit to get to 10 covers. But then again, like anything retro, being ugly and horribly dated isn't always a bad thing.
Some fun facts about the time span of this JCK cover collection:
- In 1956: Elvis swings his hips on the The Milton Berle Show.
- In 1957: The "Little Rock Nine" integrate Arkansas high school.
- In 1958: Cost of a gallon of gas: 24¢
- In 1959: Hawaii becomes the 50th U.S. state.
