 Ruth Batson is the executive director and chief executive officer of the The American Gem Society, a trade association dedicated to proven ethics, knowledge and consumer protection within the jewelry industry. All members are held to the highest ethical standards in the industry and are re-certified annually to maintain their AGS titles. Ruth also serves on the Board of Directors for many jewelry industry organizations including Jewelers for Children, the Jewelers Vigilance Committee, the JCK Show Advisory Board and the Council for Responsible Jewellery Practices.
