Spring-inspired Jewelry Designs

February 25, 2009

I’m reviewing lots of press kits this week to prepare spring issues of JCK and JCK Luxury. In the process, I’m seeing lots of great jewelry that is seemingly inspired by the upcoming spring season. Hurray! It’s almost time for tulip buds to bloom. In anticipation of March 20 (the first day of spring), I’ll share with you a few designs that have me thinking ahead to warmer days. Enjoy.

Organic-looking styles in 18k gold feature bright and cheery colored stones. Ariane Zurcher

I love these sterling silver pieces from the Gavarnie collection. They’re really cute and affordable—a perfect spring treat! Andrea Lucille Designs

Spring-like color combinations abound in these new pieces: pale yellow sapphires and a South Sea pearl, and, a white coral branch on rose gold with peach moonstones. Tiffany Peay

Flowers are, without a doubt, the inspiration for these sweet-looking rings. FR Hueb

An edgy tribute to Mother Earth (or, your own Mommy for Mother’s Day) is available in this black diamond necklace. Catherine Angiel
