It took 175 years, but to commemorate that significant anniversary, watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre unveiled its first foray into fine jewelry, Parure Extraordinaires Le Lierre, La Rose, and La Tulipe, at the 65th Venice Film Festival.

Jaeger’s muse? Nature’s floras. And specifically, for Le Lierre, ivy (lierre, en français), "a symbol of attachment and of eternity that is believed to exercise a protective force," according to a news release. The verdant collection also draws on "the inherent freedom of ivy," with its sprawling tendrils. In accordance, the collection is a well-grafted (er, -crafted) suite of sweets, including a cuff watch, necklace, ring, and earrings. In them, you’ll find tsavorites, yellow sapphires, emeralds, and some very special diamonds. Mai oui!
