Diversify Like Bravo Through Launching Related Products, Merchandise
When you have a good idea, spin it off into more to spread the brand message and increase profit. Or, at least, consider doing so, like Bravo Television, which is developing clothes, kitchenware, and other merchandise based on some of it popular programs like Project Runway and Top Chef. For jewelers, diversification—selling more than just jewelry and watches—could mean offering jewelry-themed accessories, stationary, t-shirts, and more, as a way to remind shoppers of your store when they aren’t in it. Ways that peers are already diversifying into related activities include buying more gold from customers and promoting repair businesses.
