Diamond Shavings: Your Friday Web Roundup

August 17, 2007

First off, I am very sorry to hear about the death of Moshe Schnitzer. He was actually one of the first big people I interviewed in the industry, and I was impressed how gracious, warm and down-to-earth he was, considering he was a legend dealing with a clueless 26 year old. My condolences to son Shmuel and his entire family. Here is Chaim’s obituary.

And now the rest of the news ….

In case you missed it last week, Polishedprices says Argyle is for sale.  (Commentary.) I have emailed the Rio Tinto people for a response, and so far have gotten no reply.
