The DDC Keeps Term Limits

The much-talked-about term-limit vote just occurred at the DDC -- and, after what is described as a "passionate," "overflowing" and "raucous" meeting (one person called it a "near riot"), with an attempt to have two votes, and a lengthy dispute over whether the vote should be held in private, the measure to change the DDC by-laws did not pass by two thirds, which means term limits will remain in place, and the club will get new leadership.

This is, of course, barring another vote on this issue. And some think that's a possibility, and it apparently is being discussed. We will cross that bridge when we come to it, but for now, the issue seems settled.
