And now for something completely different
June 4, 2007

Since so many of our readers have been busy in Las Vegas this past week, we decided that today we'd just post a little "light refreshment" -- a bit of humor to cleanse the pallet, if you will, before business gets back to its usual routine. In that regard, we are posting Caroline's favorite joke:

The stressed-out store clerk quits and becomes a cop.
"How's the new gig?" a friend asks.

"The pay is bad and the hours are awful, but
I LOVE THAT THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG."

Credit for today's jewel goes to Robert Fleming, who supplied the joke to the April 2007 issue of Readers' Digest magazine. More jewels to follow on Wednesday!
