Diamond Media Watch

- From the LA Times' "All Blood Diamond All the Time" blog (meaning, it's just like this one): "Blood Diamond" to air on Oprah Dec. 4, this Monday. I plan to "live-blog" it -- meaning I'll watch it and give my thoughts as it happens.

- A major story just came out on the Sierra Leone diamond industry in Fortune. Having been to Sierra Leone, I can tell you, it's not pretty, but it's all true. (By the way, more information on the Diamond Development Initiative can be found here.)
