More Baselworld Jewelry and Watch Highlights

I am home safely from the Baselworld show, but for those who’re still en Suisse, here are a few more neat lines to check out.
* Grimoldi. Owner Giorgio Grimoldi makes some massive rubellite pendants, uses quirky motifs such as fish hooks, and some styles with meaning, like his little people charms and message rings. His pieces are eye-catching, unusual, and worth a look. Hall 2.1 B90.
* Leicht Chaton. This firm has an impressive colorless diamond Y necklace in its window that’s hard to miss. The stones are graduated in size, and the piece is a more interesting alternative to a classic line necklace. Hall 2.1 M40.
* Stefan Hafner. The design firm offers beautiful variations of its Corset rings in brown hues. The rings have a mosaic-like look, and I think, are just stunning. Hall 2.2 B10.
* Corum. Replacing last year’s displays of priceless artwork (from the private collection of owner Severin Wunderman) are new animal-motif watches in the windows of the Corum booth. The watches are snazzy, and the theme is on trend this season. Hall 1.0 B01.
