The 5th Annual Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards: Recognizing Those Behind the Scenes (Part I)

Hamilton, being founded in 1892 in Lancaster, PA, has had quite the love affair with the film industry, with timepieces first being featured in the 1951 film, The Frogmen. This long history of Hamilton, now a part of the Swatch Group, having small supporting roles within films was the catalyst for the first Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards in 2003 which initially only honored costume designers.

Now, this annual event presents awards to those behind the camera whose work directly impacts the emotional and visual experience of movie-goers.

Hollywood Life Magazine is Hamilton's partner on the event. Hollywood Life is published six times a year and is also known for their own award events—theYoung Hollywood Awards, Breakthrough Awards and Hollywood Style Awards.
