Tweety Fine Jewelry Auctions VW Bug to Benefit Jewelers for Children
December 7, 2007
Tweety Fine Jewelry is
auctioning off a one-of-a-kind Tweety emblazoned VW Bug, to benefit
Jewelers for Children (JFC), valued at over $60,000.
The
Tweety VW Bug auction is being held online and can be accessed at
www.TweetyFineJewelry.com. The auction closes at 12:01am on February 15, 2008. Those whose partners are
Tweety obsessed, take note!
"Every hot chick needs a hot car, and
Tweety is no exception. But to celebrate the launch of
Tweety Fine Jewelry and to help out some grateful kids, we're auctioning off
Tweety's own completely custom one-of-a-kind hardtop
VW Bug. So here's your chance to make your bid to travel in style...
Tweety style." (

Here a few pieces from the collection; I think that
Robert Emerson Clampett would be proud.
"We chose to give the proceeds of the
Tweety VW Bug auction to
Jewelers for Children because it is such a worthwhile organization and truly deserves our support," noted Arthur D'Annunzio, designer of the
Tweety Fine Jewelry collection and CEO of
D'Annunzio Group, "With the support of the fine jewelry industry, JFC gives so much to children in need and makes me proud to be a member of this industry."
About Jewelers for Children
Since its 1999 inception, Jewelers for Children has invested nearly $28 million in special programs to reach children whose lives have been devastated by catastrophic illness or life-threatening abuse and neglect. Supported by those who create and sell fine jewelry and watches, JFC is the official charity for "the industry with a heart." (
