Chopard at the Final Rose Ceremony

As my JCK co-workers know all too well, my Bachelor obsession reached an all time high this season, as my very own friend competed for and won bachelor Andy Baldwin’s heart. She is the lovely, elegant Tessa- a favorite among not only those who know her but most people with whom I discussed the show.

My high school friends and I screamed for several reasons Monday night as Andy put a beautiful, simple Chopard engagement ring on Tessa’s hand. This is the second piece of jewelry she has received from the Officer and the Gentleman, the first being a diamond Chopard necklace and earrings in an earlier episode (perhaps we should have caught on then that she’d receive the final rose)- which Tessa did not get to keep.

I got to see the happy couple in New York last night. With the ring and engagements still on, they are discussing Tessa’s move to Hawaii to be with her fiancé.
