JCK Events Promotes Weinrich, Tierney

-- JCK-Jewelers Circular Keystone, 8/28/2008 9:11:00 AM

JCK Events said Tuesday that Yancy Weinrich and John Tierney will expand their roles on JCK and LUXURY by JCK.

Weinrich has been named the industry vice president for JCK and LUXURY.

Weinrich joined the organization in July of 2004 as national sales director of Luxury by JCK and quickly earned the lead role in LUXURY as the Event Director. During this time she tremendously improved the quality of the event and developed LUXURY into the industry’s leading event catering to high-end, upscale retailers.

Weinrich’s 13-year background in the jewelry industry has included management roles at the American Gem Society and the Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America. She currently serves as the national president of the Women’s Jewelry Association.

“Her experience and relationships with industry leaders has enabled her to successfully develop programs and events that deliver value to her customers,” JCK Events said in a statement. “In her expanded role she will have the opportunity to broaden her reach to more of the JCK customers which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the entire JCK portfolio.”

Tierney has been named event director of LUXURY by JCK and will maintain his role as group sales director on JCK.

Tierney began as the group sales director on The JCK Shows in 2002 and made an immediate impact by quickly gaining an understanding of his customers needs.

Under his leadership, his sales team of six serves more than 3,500 JCK manufacturers globally.

“He has had a direct and meaningful impact to the JCK portfolio while serving the needs of manufacturers from over 22 different countries,” JCK Events said in a statement. “He consistently delivers valuable, positive results for his customers. In global meetings and through one-on-one customer visits John represents the JCK Brand. The relationships John has created are second to none and he will now have the opportunity to continue to enhance the luxury experience for LUXURY by JCK customers.”

The JCK brand continues to be the industry’s most important event for buying, education, and networking. The JCK Shows serve a global marketplace for the worldwide jewelry industry.

Dave Bonaparte, group vice president of JCK Events continues to lead this team and directs the strategy for JCK Events all over the World. Under Bonaparte’s leadership JCK Las Vegas has flourished into the world’s leading events serving the fine jewelry industry expanding the JCK Brand to India and Canada.
