DTC Names Head of Sales and Client Services

The Diamond Trading Company has appointed Mahiar Borhanjoo as executive director, Sales and Client Services. The appointment will become effecticve May 19.
Varda Shine, DTC managing director, who made the announcement, said that the a key part of DTC's 2010 Vision is "the need to ensure we deliver maximum value to our clients; this is exactly what Mahiar’s role is all about. It requires commercial expertise, an ability to forge genuine business partnerships, an outstanding record in leading sales teams and the ability to develop targeted offerings for our sightholders."
Mahiar joins the DTC from Etelcare Global Solutions in Los Angeles, a global provider of Business Process Outsourcing, where he held positions of director of Client Relations and Program Management and, most recently, vice President, financial Services and Customer Care.
"The DTC’s transformation isn’t simply about achieving our Vision for 2010; it is also about ensuring that we have a sustainable and vibrant business going forward," Shine said.
