IJO Owner Richard Swetz Honored

Richard Swetz was honored at the recent Independent Jewelers Organization show in Colorado Springs by the vendors and retail members. This was Swetz’s last show as head of his buying group of 850 retail jewelers and 160 vendors.
“Richard has been a big part of my growth as a designer”, said jewelry designer, Alisa Unger. “If it wasn’t for Richard and the IJO members, I might have never gotten off the ground. He gave me my first opportunity to show my designs during an IJO show five years ago.”
The week long event was highlighted by singer Frankie Valli performing for Swetz during the banquet in his honor. Alisa and Jeff Unger designed a jewelry tower honoring Richard for his years of service.
