Keeping Time, Staying in Style

By Bacilio Mendez II -- JCK-Jewelers Circular Keystone, 3/1/2008

Tissot knows what a woman wants—diamonds. But what about ladies who rush rather than lunch? Tissot has them covered, too. The T-Touch Danica Patrick Limited Edition watch—named for professional race-car driver Danica Sue Patrick—adds the elegance of diamonds to everyday timekeeping to offer women a cross between sleek fashion and casual luxury.

The T-Touch isn't the brand's only option for active women. The PRC100 is for the woman who wants a timepiece to dress up her look during the day but also carry through to evening. It comes in a variety of looks including spicy red with a fire-engine dial and matching red alligator-style strap; classic white-on-white with white dial and matching leather strap; and, for those who like a bit more heft, a steel bracelet with mother-of-pearl dial.

Women who are partial to yellow gold and appreciate more customization options can turn to the Nubya watch, available in an elongated rectangular or square style. Both feature diamonds at the contours of the case and a larger diamond at 12 o'clock. The mother-of-pearl face features a large, gold Arabic “6,” and the watch comes with chocolate brown, black, or creamy white satin strap.
