Sterling Earns Workplace Honor

Sterling Jewelers Inc. was named one of the best workplaces in Northeast Ohio during the 9th annual NorthCoast 99 Awards. This is the seventh time the Akron, Ohio-based headquarters was recognized for its exceptional working environment.
The annual recognition program honors 99 great workplaces for attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent in Northeast Ohio. The program was developed and hosted by the Employers Resource Council, Northeast Ohio’s largest organization dedicated to Human Resources and workplace programs, practices, training, and consulting.
Unique in its approach, NorthCoast 99 seeks nominations directly from employees throughout the region. Once nominated, organizations complete a detailed description of their policies, benefits, and workplace characteristics that makes them attractive from an employee perspective.
Sterling Jewelers operates more than 1,307 stores in all 50 states and employs more than 17,000 team members nationally and 2,300 in Greater Akron. It is the U.S. division of the London-based Signet Group plc, making it part of the largest specialty retail jeweler in the world.
