Se-Kure Controls’ display case beeper (model #SK-539) alerts store personnel to unauthorized activity without alarming customers whenever a case is opened. Each time the case is opened, a gentle, intermittent beep—as opposed to a steady alarm—functions as a theft deterrent. The two-piece unit, smaller than a deck of cards, comes with mounting adhesive and can be installed on any moving, sliding, or swinging door. Se-Kure Controls Inc., 3714 Runge St., Franklin Park, IL 60131; (800) 322-2435.

Visionware Systems’ Electronic Sample Bag enables all members of a sales team to present a company’s entire line of products in every color and style from a laptop computer. The system enables theatrical animation of products and highlighting of key selling points with digital images. To demonstrate perspective, the product can be rotated in a 360-degree arc. The system also incorporates contact management, back-order management, and traditional sales-force automation functions. Custom components that enable a salesperson to electronically transmit and confirm orders at the point of sale are also available. Visionware Systems, 33 Wall St., Princeton, NJ 08540; (609) 924-6880.
