Obituary

Bob Link, director of business development for Wolf Designs, died Feb. 16, 2005. Link resided in Dallas and represented Wolf Designs in the TOLA (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas) region.

"Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, dear friend, and superb salesman," said Simon P. Wolf V, president of Wolf Designs. "He truly loved his job and enjoyed the travel and friendship of his devoted colleagues and loyal customers. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him for his attentiveness and professionalism, and fondly remembered for his generous and most engaging personality."

Link was born May 26, 1940, in Jacksonville, Fla. In his early years, he followed in his father's footsteps working on the railroad. He also enjoyed a career playing minor league baseball and doing freelance voice work. From 1982 to 1984, he appeared on the television series Dallas in multiple speaking roles. When he moved to sales he sold everything from airplanes to fine watches. He also served as a consultant and sales trainer and established training divisions and programs for major corporations nationwide.

Link joined Wolf Designs in August 2003 as an exclusive representative for the company. Prior to joining Wolf Designs, Link spent 15 years in the military resale system, the last four with Dixon-Milbrands Inc., a military brokerage firm, as vice president of sales. During his tenure at Dixon-Milbrands he hired, trained, and managed a sales force that sold jewelry items and 60 different product lines to military post exchanges.

He was devoted to his wife, Patricia, and his children, stepchildren, and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that donations be made in Link's name to STARS, (Save the Animals Rescue Society), 1079 West Round Grove Road, Box 300-154, Lewisville, Texas 75067.
