WJA Presents Second Annual Business Conference

The Second Annual WJA "Women In the Know" business conference will be held March 4 at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Noted author and speaker Andrea Nierenberg, whom The Wall Street Journal called "a networking success story," is the keynote speaker. As head of the Nierenberg Group, New York City, she brings 23 years' experience in sales, marketing, customer service, management training, and business development to clients such as PriceWaterhouse Cooper, Estee Lauder, Tiffany, and Coach. She is the author of Non-Stop Networking: How to Improve Your Life, Luck and Career and writes a weekly column for Fortune Small Business Online.

A panel on "How to Succeed in Business," moderated by Paula Peterson of Crown Luxury Consulting, will include Peggy Jo Donahue, Professional Jeweler ; Dione Kenyon, Jewelers Board of Trade; Stacie Orloff, Corum Watches; and Randi Shinske, Ebel.

Industry VIPS Andrea Hill, The Bell Group; Ann Poletti, eBay; and Chuck Lein, Stuller Settings will lead breakout discussion sessions covering topics such as leadership development, Internet business strategy, and what it takes to stay relevant in today's changing world.

Carol Welsh, author of Stop When You See Red, will provide survival tips on how to deal with difficult people in the workplace.
