Peruvian Aid Group Awarded Hublot Prize

The 2004 Hublot Prize of the MDM Foundation has been awarded to Fernande and Paco Cagigao for their work with Achalay, a Peruvian organization they founded in 1971 that houses, rehabilitates, cares for, and educates poverty-stricken children and adolescents and handicapped adults. Educators and residents live together in the Achalay community complex like an extended family, "in a spirit of solidarity and mutual support." The prize is named for the luxury watch brand produced by MDM Geneve.
