Luxury China 2004, the second International Exhibition for Jewellery and Watches, will be held Sept. 26-29 in Shanghai. The Hong Kong Watch Trades & Industries Federation sees Luxury China as the best presentation opportunity for its members in the up-and-coming Chinese watch market. More and more Chinese jewelry manufacturers and retailers see the fair as an ideal platform to get to know new business partners and pave the way for long-term business relations. The People's Bank of China has granted a license to the China National Arts & Crafts (Group) Corp. (CNACC) for the sale of jewelry before and after the fair.
