Right-Hand Ring Ties in With Catwoman

"Catwomen of the world, raise your right hand!" This summer, De Beers' Diamond Trading Company tied its right-hand ring advertising to Warner Brothers' Catwoman. The execution pictured here ran in heavy rotation during the summer, and the movie returned the plug by showing a scene in which Catwoman tries on a right-hand ring. "Catwoman was the perfect fit for us," says Sally Morrison, director of the Diamond Information Center. "She personifies all the attitudes and values of the woman who owns the diamond right hand ring: strong, beautiful, and stylish; sophisticated as well as sexy."
