Luigi Girotto has joined Bel Oro International, New York, as head of Aurea International Design Group division. Girotto most recently was employed with Italian jewelry designer Zoccai.
The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has appointed Gerard J. Buckley as director of development. Buckley has more than 25 years experience in development, fundraising, public relations, and marketing and most recently served as vice president of development at the Escondido (Calif.) Humane Society.
Cartier has appointed Anthony Ledru as director of accessories for the Cartier and Montegrappa brands. Ledru began his career at Cartier in 1997 as regional manager of the Cartier, Montblanc, and Alfred Dunhill wholesale accounts in Argentina and Brazil.
