Kathy Ireland to Partner with Designer Martin Gruber

Lifestyle designer Kathy Ireland—known for her award-winning home furnishings, outdoor living, and apparel collections—is launching a partnership with jewelry designer Martin Gruber. Under the agreement, Ireland will work with Gruber to develop "Kathy Ireland Jewelry by Gruber," a collection that will incorporate 14k and 18k yellow, pink, and white gold as well as platinum, silver, and diamonds. Precious and semiprecious stones also will play a unique role in the designs.
Born into a family of jewelers, Martin Gruber's jewelry design career spans more than three decades. A recipient of the De Beers Diamond International Award for a record fourth time recently, he has amassed more than 40 national and international awards to date. He is both artist and architect, with 80% of his pieces conceived on canvas.
