The first-ever Luxury by JCK ~ Caribbean show will be held Oct. 23-25 at the Fontainebleau Hilton Resort in Miami Beach, Fla.
The event will include breakfast seminars; private business-to-business selling opportunities for designers, manufacturers, and retailers; evening events; additional networking opportunities; and entertainment.
The event will showcase the work of 50 exhibitors, including American Diamond Syndicate, Lovefire, Connoisseur International, and Hearts On Fire. Invitations to retailers in the Caribbean will be limited to 50-75. Stores that already have accepted invitations include Ballerina Jewelers, Boolchand's, Caribbean Gems, Omni Jewelers, Oro Diamante, and The Royal Shops.
"Our research revealed that the current U.S. jewelry events run too early in the year for Caribbean retailers, who need to make buying decisions much later in the year," said Jamie Swanson, event director for Luxury by JCK. "Further, there is a definite need to expose Caribbean fine jewelers to the work of our designers and manufacturers since the Caribbean is an extremely lucrative jewelry market, deriving many jewelry consumers from the tourist industry that includes North America as well as Europe and Asia. These avid jewelry consumers view the Caribbean as a shopping destination."
