Charriol Expands into Canada

By William George Shuster, Senior Editor -- JCK-Jewelers Circular Keystone, 8/1/2002

Charriol luxury watches and jewelry expanded into the Canadian market in April, distributed by A'Lor International Ltd., which operates Charriol USA. The brand has been in the United States for 15 years.

Charriol initially will concentrate on major Canadian cities and then expand quickly to the rest of the country, says Sandy Zemer, president of A'Lor International/Charriol USA.

Philippe Charriol, creator of the brand, was pleased to have A'Lor Charriol/Charriol USA—which he called "my top distributor"—represent Canada. "A'Lor's strong background and proven record in marketing, sales, and customer service is sure to bring them success in this endeavor as well."

Charriol collections include the new Flamme Blanche jewelry series and its Colvmbvs watch collection, the Colvmbvs Round with a new cascade bracelet and redesigned shape. Charriol products are found in the U.S. market at select fine jewelers and upscale department stores like Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Bloomingdale's.
