Metals Company Creates 'Liberty Bracelet'

A Richmond, Va., specialty metals manufacturing company has created the "Liberty Bracelet" to remember those lost in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and to raise money for those still in need of help. Similar in design to the POW/MIA bracelets of the early 1970s, Hoover & Strong's sterling silver cuff bracelet is engraved with the phrase "Remember 9.11.01" across the face. All profits from the sale of the bracelets, which retail for $20, will go to Sept. 11 charities. Bracelets can be ordered through the www.libertybracelet.com Web site. The goal is to sell 100,000 "Liberty Bracelets."
