Columbus Jewelry Show Changes Name

The board of directors of the Ohio Jewelers Association has voted unanimously to change the name of the Columbus Jewelry Show to the Mid America Jewelry Show.  In addition, the Ohio Jewelers Association will change its name to the Mid America Jewelers Association and accept membership from retail jewelers in states "that have supported the Columbus Jewelry Show," the organization said in a statement.

The membership will be polled for concurrence.

A change of venue for the 2010 Mid America Jewelry Show also was announced, from Hall "D" to Battelle Hall in the Columbus Convention Center, which recently underwent a $40 million renovation. The show is scheduled for Aug. 20-22, 2010.
