New Gemmological Foundation Award

Hirsh London and Gem-A, the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, have announced the creation of a new Gemmology Foundation Award. The £1,000 prize, which will be presented annually, will be awarded to an outstanding gemology candidate in the Foundation Certificate examination.

The Hirsh Award was announced by Anne Bailey, a director of Hirsh London and a fellow of the Gemmological Association, at a Gem-A reception held during The JCK Show ~ Las Vegas. Hirsh London, founded in 1980, has stores at 56/57 Burlington Arcade and 10 Hatton Garden.
