CJA Presents Scholarship

The California Jewelers Association (CJA) recently presented its 2004 Robert B. Westover GIA Scholarship to Katie Stam of Country Club Jewelers in Fullerton. This annual scholarship is named in honor of former CJA executive vice president Robert B. Westover.

Stam, who is completing her bachelor's degree in the entrepreneurship program at California State University, Fullerton, will enroll this fall in the graduate colored stones program at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), which will allow her to earn her Graduate Gemologist designation. Stam plans to open her own jewelry store someday.
