New Store Opens in Manchester Center

Northeastern Fine Jewelry, Schenectady, N.Y., opened its third store in July, at 4620 Main St. in Manchester Center, Vt. The grand opening included the unveiling of a rare pink diamond ring set in platinum and 18k rose gold. The store's owner, Ray Bleser, will donate 10% of the proceeds from the sale of the ring (anytime within the next year) to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Upstate New York and Vermont.
During a private cocktail reception attended by hundreds of residents as well as business and community leaders, Northeastern launched the grand opening by donating 5% of proceeds to Hildene, the Manchester landmark and estate that serves as an educational and cultural resource and as a memorial to the family of Abraham Lincoln.
