GIA Hosts Jewelry Career Fair

More than 1,000 potential job candidates brought their hopes and resumés to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) 13th annual Jewelry Career Fair, held July 25 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. Job seekers met with recruiters from 38 firms, including such well-known names as David Yurman, Tiffany & Co., Rosy Blue, Tourneau, Zale Corp., and Eugene Biro Corp. Nearly 200 volunteers from all sectors of the international gem and jewelry industry generously donated their time to make the Career Fair possible.
