Fortunoff Intellectual Property to Be Auctioned

The intellectual property assets of liquidated retailer Fortunoff will be auctioned June 18, according to CONSOR Intellectual Asset Management, which is overseeing the auction.
A bid deadline of June 16th, 2009 has been set, with a scheduled sale approval hearing on June 22, 2009.
Fortunoff`s intellectual asset portfolio for sale includes trademarks, domain names, and customer databases, as well as its bridal registry, exclusive jewelry designs, 1-800-Fortunoff, training materials, knowledge databases and IT systems.
The primary IP assets include over 70 registered trademarks including, Fortunoff, The Source, Prime Time, Oxford Hall, FSS and Avignon, as well as Fortunoff-related domain names.
85-year-old Fortunoff was forced to liquidate earlier this year.
