New Laser Inscription Technology

PhotoScribe Technologies, a New York-based manufacturer of high-end laser systems for diamond marking, recently released a new series of laser inscription systems for diamond dealers and jewelers. The LMS500 and LMS550 were demonstrated at The JCK Show ~ Las Vegas in June.
According to the company, these are the first affordably priced laser inscription systems made for permanently marking polished and rough girdles. They're based on the Excimer "cold" laser technology and are guaranteed not to fracture diamonds. The LMS series can be used to inscribe logos, certification numbers, and security marks on inventory.
