Sundance Diamonds, a high pressure high temperature (HPHT) diamond processing service company, said it has processed a large natural brown diamond into a 10.09-ct. fancy intense color enhanced pink diamond.
Named “The Provo Rose,” it is a classic 58-facet round with VS clarity, according to Russ Myers, Sundance Diamonds Manager.
Enhanced pink diamonds of 25 points and below have been made infrequently with irradiation, however, to date the largest irradiated color enhanced pink has been only 5 cts., and it was processed by Sundance in 2005, according to Myers.
The Orem, Utah-based company will unveil The Provo Rose during the JCK Show ~ Las Vegas at the Sundance Diamonds booth (#40115). The company will offer free analysis of diamonds and discounted processing for diamonds submitted at the show. Sundance will also have on display diamonds from their customers that are available for purchase.
