Obituary: Richard "Dick" Showerman

Richard "Dick" Showerman, who spent his working life in the jewelry industry, died Feb. 28, 2003. Showerman was a past president of the Chicago Jewelers Association and the Golden Roosters of Chicago. After serving in the military, he joined Tessler & Tessler in 1947 as a manufacturer's representative, and stayed with that company until 1966. He then moved to Original Designs Inc., working there until 1974, when joined Imperial Gold Products. He retired from that company in 1985.
