Mid-Manhattan Store Robbed of $1 Million

By JCK Online Staff -- JCK Online, 5/11/2009 11:56:00 AM

One million dollars  in jewelry was stolen from New York jewelry store Gioia Galleria after two thieves knocked the owner down and attacked her with pepper spray, according to a report in the Daily News.

The store owner had apparently recognized the men, as they had been in the store before. She buzzed them in. Once in the store, they kicked her and attacked her with pepper spray.

The men are described as being in their 30s with Russian accents.
