More companies are venturing into the product placement arena, using celebrities as billboards extraordinaire. Here are two of the latest:
Mariah Carey was presented with a Rembrandt charm bracelet—which included, of course, a miniature NASCAR racecar—just in time for her singing of the national anthem at the Daytona 500.
ER character "Dr. Carter," portrayed by Noah Wylie, will propose to his television sweetheart, "Abby," with one of Fabrikant's newest designs, the Royal Oval engagement ring. Valued at $20,000, the Royal Oval used in the program features a 2-ct., VS-G center stone with .12 ct. t.w. of diamonds in the surrounding pavé hand-engraved platinum setting.
