Interpak Acquires Gem Case

International Packaging Corporation (Interpak), a manufacturer and distributor of packaging materials for the jewelry (and related) industries, has purchased the assets of Gem Case LLC.
Gem Case, founded in 1970, is a manufacturer of covered metal jewelry boxes. Interpak manufactures and distributes jewelry boxes, displays, and packaging to jewelry manufacturers, retail jewelers, department stores, jewelry chain stores, and mass merchandisers through the United States and Canada.
Interpak is a privately held, family-owned manufacturing business that employs 600 full-time and up to 100 seasonal employees in Pawtucket, R.I. Interpak also employs 120 in Maybole, Scotland.
