Prix Golay Opens To Worldwide Entrants
Staff -- JCK Online, 10/1/2004 2:00:00 AM
The Prix Golay is now open to participants from countries besides Switzerland. Entrants must follow a public training program that is comparable to that of their Swiss counterparts, and provide proof of it. They are eligible to obtain a Special Mention or the Special Prize of the Jury. The number of foreign entrants is limited to two per country; the first two who fulfill the conditions and have filed a valid registration will be admitted. The theme of the 2005 contest is "Talisman—Good Luck Charm With Keshi Pearls," and the assignment is to create a talisman for the future, based on talismans of the past and on characteristics of the 10 keshi pearls that each participant receives.
The detailed contest documentation and a continuously updated list of the countries whose two participants have already been admitted are available on the Web site www.golay.com .
