ROMANS ELECTED TO NYC 24 KARAT CLUB

James T. Romans, vice president of purchasing at Paul H. Gesswein & Co., has been elected to the 24 Karat Club of the City of New York. Romans has been a member of the Golden Circle since 1976 and received its "Man of the Year" Award in 1998. He has been involved in fund raising for the Jewelry Information Center, Jewelers Vigilance Committee, and Jewelers' Security Alliance and is a member of the Jewelry Industrial Distributors Association, for which he served a two-year term as executive director.
