JCK’s Annual Salary Survey

The 2008 JCK Annual Salary Survey (with figures for 2007 compensation) drew the highest number of respondents ever, 892, from both email respondents and paper surveys mailed to the JCK Retail Panel. The JCK Salary Survey is the only one in the industry to include data for supplier firms as well as retail jewelry firms. This year, retail jewelers accounted for 55 percent of respondents. Twenty-five percent were supplier firms, and 19 percent held other positions in the industry, such as consultants, appraisers, or laboratory or association personnel.
