Netanyahu Visits Diamond Bourse

Israel's former prime minister and current finance minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently addressed the Israel Diamond Exchange, noting that "the contribution of the diamond industry to Israel's economy has been enormous." Shmuel Schnitzer, president of the Exchange and of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses, later asked Netanyahu for help in turning Israel's diamond zone into a Free Trade Area in order to attract investors.
