Frederick Goldman Inc. has appointed Tom Tanner vice president of marketing. Tanner, who has more than 15 years of marketing experience, will be responsible for marketing strategy, brand management, communications, and sales support. Prior to joining Frederick Goldman, Tanner served as senior director of marketing at Andin International.

Gannon & Scott, refiner and assayer of precious metals, has announced two appointments. Michael Flaherty was named sales and marketing manager, overseeing worldwide sales, marketing, and customer service. Prior to joining Gannon & Scott, he was vice president of sales and marketing for Coca-Cola of Southeastern New England. Robert Bouchard was appointed business development manager, responsible for securing relationships with new vendors and customers and managing large national accounts. Bouchard joined Gannon & Scott in 2004 and has over 30 years of experience in the precious metals industry.

Swarovski North America Ltd. has appointed Livia Marotta director of communications and public relations. Her primary responsibilities are to increase brand awareness and guarantee brand leadership. Prior to joining Swarovski, Marotta headed the Luxottica Group N.A. communications department, where she directed strategies to promote eyewear as a key fashion accessory.
