Sam Merksamer to Resign from NCDIA

The Natural Color Diamond Association said Friday that Sam Merksamer will be leaving his position as executive director "to pursue new opportunities in the world of 'for profit.'" His resignation will become effective on Dec. 31.
The NCDIA Executive Committee, said in a statement, that the organization will announce a new executive director next week.
"We wish to thank Sam for all his contributions in the formation and growth of our Association and wish him much success in his future business endeavors," the statement said.
